There’s a huge amount of space to work with inside the RL05, making it really easy to get all of your components installed quickly.
Cable routing is quite simple, but it gets the job done, using a split between the hard drive mount and motherboard tray to pass cables through to the motherboard.
There’s a hole on the shroud to route cables to your GPU if they’re side mounted, although they do tend to trail a bit, especially if you have such a long card as the one we used.
Excellent CPU cooler clearance here, with room for the top panel for extra fans, and room for an AIO cooler on the rear mount.
Plenty of room for a dual GPU configuration here also, with room to spare for a couple of hard drives on the PSU shroud.
Overall, the layout is pretty simple and the features are basic, but it’s all functional and presentable, meaning you can easily get a great looking build that you’ll be proud to show off through the side panel; so let’s do that!
Side panel back in place and system powered up, we can clearly see the interior of the chassis, with most of the excess cables hidden out of sight thanks to that shroud, it looks stunning. Of course, the real star of the show is that front panel, with the bright red highlights, as well as those lovely red LED fans giving it a fiery glow from the front, as well as throughout the chassis when you’ve got any ambient lights turned down.
