Silverstone has released the first micro-ATX chassis in their Kublai series that is built with an optimal layout for efficiency. The new chassis is the KL06 and it comes equipped with dual 120mm quiet fans for cooling multiple drives and high-end components in a classic wrapping.
The internal body structure is based on the benchmark Temjin TJ08-E and Precision PS06, resulting in a new design that meets both current and future demands. There is enough space to accommodate graphics cards with a length of up to 13.5 inch, CPU cooler up to 165mm height, and PSU of up to 180mm length. Externally you’ll get two 5.25-inch bays and inside there are another one 3.5-inch and eight 2.5-inch drive bays.
Besides the two front side intake 120mm fans, the KL06 also has room for a rear 120mm exhaust fan. The front panel features two USB 3.0 ports as well as audio jacks for your headset.
For easy assembly and more convenience, the KL06 features a removable drive cage, motherboard tray, and top panel. The filters are accessible from the outside, which makes the normal maintenance very easy too. The SilverStone Kublai KL06 is a cool looking chassis full of features, and the price isn’t bad either. The recommended End User price (excl. VAT) is $79.98 USD.
