SilverStone Releases The Kublai-Series KL07 Silent ATX Tower

SilverStone released a new chassis that is perfect for a clean setup and silent operation. The new KL07 is part of the Kublai-series and it is built to meet the needs of enthusiasts with everything they’ll want. It comes with the latest connectors such as USB-C and it is noise dampened with a special wavy foam padding.
The KL07 has a highly flexible space for installing all popular core components and it has support for a myriad of cooling configurations. There is a total of six 120/140mm fan slots around the case with maximum radiator support of up to 360mm – that should be able to cool any part the way you want it too.
Thanks to the wave-patterned foam that has been applied to the inside of the chassis, the KL07 reduces the perceived noise while it still is able to take in cold air from the front-side intake vents. The case is also equipped with quick-access dust filters to further dampen the noise while they keep dust and other particles out of your system.
Thanks to the PSU shroud and plenty of cable routing options, it’s possible to create a very clean setup with minimal air-flow resistance despite the additional noise dampening. The motherboard plate has a large opening for easy CPU cooler installation and it comes with two 140mm fans included for a positive air pressure inside the chassis.
Users can install up to six storage drives in the KL07, three 3.5-inch (or 2.5-inch) and three 2.5-inch drives can easily be connected for plenty of storage (besides M.2 and PCIe storage options that always exist when the installed hardware offers it).
The installed CPU cooler can be up to 163mm high and the PSU can be up to 200mm long while the add-in cards can be up to 390mm long. That should be plenty for most choices that you have available when you pick out your parts.
The front panel offers you two USB 3.0 and one USB Type-C port as well as one audio and one microphone port.
The special attention to details and extra padding make the case a little more expensive than similar cases without that, but that’s only fair. The MSRP for the Kublai KL07 chassis is set to $93.74.
