SilverStone Releases SX1000R Platinum SFX-L Power Supply

SilverStone has released their new SX1000R Platinum SFX-L PSU meeting SFX 12 V 4.0 standards and PCI-Express Gen 5.

The SX1000R Platinum is a 1000W SFX-L power supply by SilverStone which provides a high-quality PSU for those who prefer small form factor builds. The PSU meets SFX 12 V 4.0 standards which is equivalent to ATX 3.0 as well as supports PCI-Express gen 5 with an included 12VHPWR cable for the newest NVIDIA graphics cards. Internally the SX1000R features a single +12V rail design with a single 83.3 A rail. The Platinum rated power supply features all Japanese electrolytic capacitors in a high-quality construction.

Silent Cooling With Advanced Protections

The unit is cooled by a single 120mm dual-bearing fan with an advanced semi-fanless operation. Under 200W of load, the fan will turn off at 0 RPM remaining silent under low loads. Keeping the unit cool is one thing but keeping the unit safe is another and the SX1000R features all the most common advanced protections including; Over-current protection, over-power protection, over-voltage protection, short circuit protection and under-voltage protection.

The unit includes all the connectors you’d need for a small form factor system and are as follows:

  • 1x 24/20-pin Motherboard Connector
  • 2x CPU 4+4P Connector
  • 1x 12VHPWR Connector
  • 2x PCIe 6+2P Connector
  • 4x Sata Connector
  • 1x 4P Floppy Connector (paired with peripheral cable)
  • 3x Peripheral 4P Connector
