SilverStone Releases World’s Smallest Platinum Certified PSUs

The times where a powerful PC system needed to take up a lot of space is long gone, at least when we think in home use scenarios and not server farms. Size is one thing and we like to keep it small and out of the way most of the times, we just want the systems to work and provide their services, preferable as efficient as possible. With these two things in mind, SilverStone created the new Strider Platinum series of power supplies that are the world’s smallest 80 Plus Platinum full-modular ATX power supplies.
SilverStone offers three new versions in the Strider Platinum series, a 550W model (ST55F-PT), a 650W model (ST65F-PT), and a 750W model (ST75F-PT). All three units come with the same benefit of only being 140mm deep, that is quite a bit smaller than usual. The fully modular cables allow for a neat setup where you only connect what you actually need. The highly efficient PSUs are 24/7 certified for continuous power output with an operating temperature of 40 degrees Celcius.
The single +12V rail is class-lading and the PSUS have a strict plus minus 3% voltage regulation and low ripple and noise. Speaking of noise, not electronical but audible, the ultra-silent 120mm fan with intelligent semi-fanless operation keeps that down too.
The new SilverStone Strider Platinum PSUs will be available on October the 19th for an MSRP of $131.88, $143.88, and $165.48 respectively, exclusive VAT.
