Silverstone SETA D1 Case Review

This is a pretty capable case, and I love just how modular everything is here. As you can see, I couldn’t quite fit the AORUS RTX 2080 in here, so I removed a couple of the HDD cages, but there’s still room to mount two drive bays on this side, and the 5.25″ cages, and all that storage around the back too, so we’re hardly lacking for options.
There’s good space for a CPU air tower cooler in here, and there’s plenty of ventilation in the rear and at the top of the case too. However, you can get a radiator in the top or front too if you wanted to take your cooling to the next level, at least, depending on your HDD configuration too.
Those front-mounted 140mm fans have plenty of ventilation too, and they’re mounted nice and low to bring in as much cool air as possible.
Of course, we need some cables in here now too, and for that, I’ve got this lovely SilverStone DA1000R Gold power supply.
The PSU slots in from the right side, and even with the HDD cage in here, there’s loads of room for a bigger unit and any additional PSU cables too.
Cable routing is excellent throughout, with large grommets above the motherboard, plenty of larger routing holes on the right, and even the PSU shroud offers up some large cut-outs too.
My larger motherboard covers the main grommets here, but as you can see, there’s still plenty of places for them to go.
With all the panels back in place, short of a few fingerprints, it looks the same as it did when I took it out of the box; very clean and tidy!
