Results – Power Supply
As this case has a pre-installed power supply with it, we felt it was only right to show the results of how it fairs against similar PSU’s on the market.
When testing the power supply, we used our trusty test rig to give consistant results and a fair test.
We used a digital multimeter to find out how stable the rails on this power supply are at idle and load.
The 3.3V rail were quite stable, giving a nice spectrum between the idle and load tests. As you can see from the results, the 3.3V rail didn’t undervolt at all, and overvoltage wasn’t really a problem either.
The 5V rail gave some consistant results too at idle and load giving similar results to the other units that we’ve tested before. Still no undervoltage, and only giving a small amount of overvoltage as expected.
The 12V rail gave some alarm results, especially in comparison with low results meaning that quite a significant amount of undervoltage appeared within our testing.
