The SX550 isn’t the prettiest looking unit, actually, it’s a little ugly as far as power supplies go. There’s an 80mm fan cut-out in the top for ventilation with an all-black finish to keep it looking uniform.
Down the side, alittle bit of passive ventilation, but otherwise a fairly blank panel.
Around the back, there’s a decent amount of ventilation to shift heat from the power supply, a master power switch and, of course, the power line-in.
On the bottom, there’s quite a lot of stickers which does look a little scruffy, but I’m sure they all have their purpose.
As you can see, the unit is rated to deliver some pretty robust voltages over the various rails, with up to 540W being made available to the +12v rail with an impressive 45A delivery, more than enough for a high-end graphics cards requirements.
