If you know anything about Silverstone, then it should be that they make some of the best power supplies in the world. Not only do they design them, they also manufacture them. More often than not, they deliver more power power litre and better efficiency per PSU size than their rivals too. For example, their new Nightjar Fanless model (above and below). It features 500W of power, an incredibly 80 Plus Platinum efficiency. Most importantly, it’s completely silent!
Despite the improvement in power delivery, they’ve even managed to make it noticeably smaller than the previous model it replaces!
Available in 300W up to 700W, this delivers big power for compact systems. Again, good efficiency for the size too, with 80 Plus Gold ratings throughout.
Their new modular SFX units are upgraded now too, with the max unit now 750W vs the old 700W. This is staggering given the form factor, and pushing close to 1000W per liter, which is incredible. Plus, with Platinum efficiency, it’s a hard one for their rivals to beat in 2019.
Still a smaller SFX unit, but the SFX-L are slightly bigger. Ideal for SFF builds, but this one can drive a staggering 1000W at 80 Plus Platinum! Again, very close to that 1000W per liter benchmark. Next year, they’ll have 1000W/L, I’m sure of it.
Their flagship platinum units are superb too, amazingly compact given their power outputs too. They scale from a model 650W up to a whopping 2000W units, all at 80 Plus Platinum efficiency.
