Sleeping Dogs was a great game, but it seems it just wasn’t enough to keep the lights on at United Front Games. The team had been working on an open world expansion for Sleeping Dogs called Triad Wars. However, the free-to-play expansion never left the closed beta and was eventually cancelled completely. The game developer later started work on a MOBA title called SMASH+GRAB, which even made its way to Steam Early Access, but has since been removed and will likely never be released.
It’s always a shame to see a good developer go down, and we hope the team find new homes in the industry as soon as possible. Farewell United Front Games!
