Sniper Elite 4 Is Announced Officially and Receives Teaser Trailer

Those of you who are fans of the Sniper Elite franchise will be glad to know that Rebellion has just announced the fact that Sniper Elite 4 will launch this year. The game was designed for current-gen platforms exclusively, and it would appear that its story will take place in Italy in the year 1943. When compared to its predecessors, Sniper Elite 4 will feature larger maps and will offer more freedom of movement to gamers, which is always nice. Apart from revealing the game, Rebellion has also released a teaser trailer for this title, which you will be able to see for yourself below.

When describing the game’s storyline, one of the company’s representatives has stated the following:

“Italy, 1943. Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must help free Italy from the yoke of Fascism and defeat a terrifying new threat that could halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.”

The Sniper Elite series of tactical shooter video games dates back to 2005, and it has gradually become one of the most appreciated series of its kind thanks to its mix of stealth, first-person and third-person gameplay features. There’s no information regarding a release date for Sniper Elite 4 at the time of writing, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.
