The main properties of this casing is protection and heat-dissipation, making peace-of-mind of protection from both damage and heat a real pleasure.

With RAID configurations for both speed, safety, large storage and the JBOD configurations through RAID 0, 1 and Span respectively, a variety of choice is offered allowing to adapt best to the users preferences.

The various connections being eSATA, FireWire 800 or USB 2.0, while a second FireWire 800 manages pass-through, when connected via the Sonnet Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard eSATA controller and in RAID 0 configuration, the F2QR manages read speeds of up to 160MB/s and writing speeds of up to 100MB/s.

Power is drawn from either a power cable, FireWire connected on your computer or the alternative and optional World Travel Power Adapter from Sonnet.
