Sony Censoring Critics Over Bravia Input Lag Issues

Users who recently got a 2016-model Sony Bravia TV are incensed with the severe input lag they are experiencing, but even more so when they took to Sony’s forum to voice their complaint only to get censored and their thread locked. Redditor GivingCreditWhereDue has even pointed out that a third thread was instantly deleted. Sony has been advertising their Bravia 4K TV models as an ideal pair with the PlayStation 4 Pro but the input lag is too severe for gamers to be useful, especially in fast-paced first-person games such as Battlefield 1 where input lag make it virtually unplayable. Input latency has been noted as acceptable in 1080p gaming but the story is completely different when it comes to 4K.
The user complains for the input lag is not a new trend, some complains have in fact been around for several months but with the coming Black Friday and Holiday season, it seems Sony is extra vigilant with stamping out any bad press that might harm their sales. Considering big-screen TVs are popular Black Friday purchases, this is not surprising. Sony has been promising a fix for the input lag issues for several months now and the latest update is expected to be released in November but it is not available yet.
