Sony draws up a “Customer Appreciation Programme” to regain consumer trust

Having recently restored the PlayStation Network back into operation and changed all user passwords, Sony has now changed the focus of its operations to compensating its PS3 owners for their losses.
Although no news yet on compensation packages for UK, Europe and Asian users. U.S users have already had their list package published and have the choice of the following:
For PlayStation 3, users they may choose 2 of these 5 games, which can be downloaded from the PlayStation store for free within the next 30 days:
- Dead Nation
- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP, users there is a choice of 2 of these 4 games:
- LittleBigPlanet
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
Also being offered is:
- 30 free days of PlayStation plus (existing customers get 60 days).
- Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription, members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription (existing members will get 30 days plus time lost).
In addition to the above a wide range of free movies and virtual items are being offered to customers (up to 100 items) of a range that has yet to be released but will be shortly.
