Sony will be ending its Rewards Program on December 31, 2024. This decision marks the end of a program that allowed users to earn points for various activities, which they could then redeem for different rewards.
The news of the program’s termination was announced on Sony’s official website. Sony has not detailed the exact reasons for the closure. However, it seems they are shifting their focus to other projects and initiatives.
Members of the Rewards Program will have until the end of the year to use their points. After December 31, 2024, any remaining points will be void. Sony encourages users to redeem their points for rewards before the deadline.
Sony also mentioned that there will be no new sign-ups allowed for the Rewards Program starting from an earlier date, yet to be announced. Existing members will continue to earn points until the program officially ends.
While ending the Rewards Program, Sony hinted at potential new initiatives that might benefit their customers. They stated that the decision aligns with their evolving business strategy and aim to provide better value through other means.
