PlayStation has revealed an all-new bundle for Spider-Man fans which offers a limited edition Spider-Man 2 PS5 console and DualSense controller.
This new bundle features a unique design for both the PS5 and DualSense controller inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which launches October 20th. The bundle features the SpiderMan logo being encroached upon by the symbiote tendrils creating a very cool contrasting black and red design. This design is used on the controller as well with the spider logo on top of the controller touchpad. Alongside the custom skins, the bundle will also include a copy of the game and even better yet, if you already own a PS5 console you will be able to purchase the console covers and controller separately to modify your existing console.
“The design was inspired by the in-game symbiote that’s taking over the console and controller, but you can still see some of the underlying red under the tendrils. This represents the various ways players will experience the symbiote takeover in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s a constant push and pull for dominance whether it’s internal or external and the outcome is not certain.” – Senior Art Director Jacinda Chew
Pre-orders will begin on July 28. Players in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, Portugal can also get this limited edition design directly from PlayStation at direct.playstation.com, or at other select retailers. These products will also be available in many other countries around the world in limited quantities at select retailers.
The PS5 Console – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle, PS5 Console Covers – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition, PS5 Digital Edition Console Covers – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition, and DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition will be available starting September 1, ahead of the game’s official release.
