SPARKLE has revealed its latest product in the form of a PCIe Gen 4 riser card capable of housing up to 4 M.2 SSDs providing a convenient mass storage solution through the use of your empty PCIe slots.
The PCIe Gen 4 Quad M.2 Riser from SPARKLE is a simple bit of kit that allows the user to install up to four PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs within one card slotted into a PCIe x16 slot. It allows for a wide range of M.2 sizes and supports RAID 0, Raid 1, and RAID 10 alongside Intel VROC and AMD Raid Xpert 2 Technology.
It features a dual fan design to keep the SSDs cool with a larger 6CM two ball blower fan towards the far side and a smaller 5cm two ball blower fan closer to the I/O Shield. IT features 8x temperature sensors two for each M.2 giving you insight into how your drives are doing. The I/O features four LED indicators for each M.2 plus a switch setting between Low, Medium and High priority modes. The card doesn’t require an external power and can be run entirely off the PCIe slot.
