Spider-Man Remastered Gets Price Changed on Steam – Refunds May Be Necessary!
Mike Sanders / 2 years ago
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is set to officially arrive on PC in a little over a weeks time and I daresay that for many of you, this might currently be one of your most anticipated gaming releases left for 2022. – If you have placed a pre-order for it on Steam, however, you need to pay attention as an important price change has been announced that could potentially see you pay more than you have to for the game!
Confused? well, let’s try and clear that up!
Spider-Man Remastered PC Release!
Following an official announcement, Steam has confirmed that Spider-Man Remastered has seen a price change in the following regions:
- Australia
- Israel
- New Zealand
- Norway
- Poland
- Switzerland
- UK
And before you start panicking, the good news is that the price has come down. Just, for example, the UK pre-order price was originally £54.99. This has, however, now been lowered to £49.99. – There is, however, a problem if you placed a pre-order for the game based upon the original amount.
Put simply, Steam can’t fix this issue themselves, and, as such, has advised anyone in a region where the price has been lowered (see above) to cancel their pre-order so that they can re-order the game based on its new lower price.
Yep, a bit of a weird one for sure, but if you want to learn more, or perhaps just don’t want to take my word for it, you can check out the official blog post from Steam via the link here!
