Spigen Launches ArcPLAY Mechanical Gaming Keyboard With 8,000Hz Speed

Spigen is probably best known for their phone cases, at least for me as I use one of them for my phone and it does a great job. Something they aren’t known for is keyboards which brings us to today’s new release of the Spigen ArcPLAY Keyboard.
Spigen ArcPLAY
The ArcPLAY is Spigen’s attempt at a gaming keyboard with a full-sized layout and mechanical Cherry MX RGB Brown Switches topped off with double-shot PBT keycaps with brown accents. The key selling point of this keyboard is its speed with an 8,000 Hz polling and scan rate allowing for fast inputs which does make the brown switches an odd choice, I’d have expected reds for the speed. The keyboard also includes RGB lighting with 11 RGB effects as well as a multi-function dial for volume, media, scroll, screen brightness and keyboard brightness.
What Spigen Had To Say
“Spigen always focuses on making customer-oriented products,” says Joe Bae, the director of Spigen’s ArcTech Department. “Spigen ArcPLAY Mechanical Gaming Keyboard will be a great tool for gamers to seize victory.”

Price and Availability
This keyboard is available for $199.99 at spigen.com and Amazon for $189.99 (20% Coupon Also Available as of writing). Personally, this price seems quite steep when compared to alternatives from companies that have more experience with keyboards, although this board could be surprisingly good.
