Getting a head start on the Chinese New Year (Monday January 23), Spire has launched a new line of power supplies called BlackDragon.
Aimed at enthusiasts and gamers, this new power supply comes in three version – 400W, 500W and 600W – is fully ATX Version 2.3 specification compliant and supports the newest Intel & AMD dual core .64 & .45 process multi-core micro-processors.
The advanced circuit design with better Japanese grade A components featured inside the PSU and the 4-way SLI / Crossfire support will give efficient power for your system.
Although being non-modular, the BlackDragon does offer black sleeved cables and black EZ-Connector as well as EMI shielded VGA/HDD power connectors.
The black exterior is contrasted by the cool-blue LED 120 mm Auto PMW silent DC fan which will remain silent during operation with only 10.0 dBA (under 250W up to 45C).
The top model (600W) features two +12V rails with 22A on +12V1 and 30A on +12V2. It has a single 24-pin ATX connector, four molex plugs, a single 4+4 pin connector, four SATA connectors and two 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors. Efficiency level is claimed to be 86% with up to 30% less power consumption.
