Spire Unveils The Budget-Friendly Tricer 1411 Chassis
John Williamson / 8 years ago
Spire might not be the first name which comes to mind when discussing the chassis market but they’ve been working towards dependable products since the company was formed in 1998. Sadly, it’s difficult for smaller brands to get a foothold in the chassis sector or much attention due to the hefty competition from the likes of Corsair, Cooler Master, Phanteks and others. Recently, Spire unveiled their latest budget-friendly Micro-ATX PC case. The Tricer 1411 includes four 120mm fan mounts in their ideal location and a 120mm black rear fan comes pre-installed. Also, the chassis is constructed from 0.45 SPCC steel and contains a reinforced drive rack.
The chassis has a secure mounting system for optical drives and hard disks which should be useful if you want to install loads of mechanical drives. On another note, the front panel houses two USB 2.0, USB 3.0 as well as AC97/HD audio connectivity. Clearly, the chassis is designed for budget builds and looks relatively well made. Hopefully, we’ll be able to request a sample and find out this first hand.
