Spotify as one of the major music streaming programs is for many people one of the ‘go-to’ apps on their phone. Offering a vast collection of music at the touch of a button in the run-up to the new year, they are offering a deal on their annual subscription price.
While they might be reportedly working on their own hardware, it doesn’t mean that they have stopped trying to get new subscribers on board.
Spotify Premium offers users unlimited access to their song database. At £10 a month this gives many the opportunity to listen to their favourites or even brand new artists. The premium service offers the perks of also have no advertising and in addition, allows direct download so you can listen while offline.
If you act before New Year’s Eve, however, if you are a member or are potentially looking to sign up a pretty nifty discount is available.
If you sign up for a years subscription, a report via CNET shows a discount of just £99 for the entire year. This reflects £21 less than you would if you just pay your monthly £10. This deal is reportedly only available to UK customers.
While this is still a pretty significant price for sign-up, if you enjoy your music and listen a lot, this is a big reduction.
In its humble beginning, Spotify was found to have partaken in a little piracy, those days are, however well behind it with it actually being one of the best music apps around.
Christmas is coming though, as such, a years subscription to Spotify for a friend, family, significant other or even yourself would be an awesome present.
