Star Citizen Gameplay Trailer Released for Alpha 2.6

Star Citizen is still a long way off and has even been a long time coming, but that doesn’t mean that the team at Cloud Imperium Games haven’t made incredible progress with the ambitious game so far! The latest trailer has been released and shows off the latest features that we can expect to see in Star Citizen 2.6 Alpha, where you’ll find 48 flyable ships and 17 missions to play.
Not only can you fly ships, which we’ve been able to do for a while now, the latest version will also introduce the standalone first person shooter component, Star Marine, which will come with two maps and two modes; Elimination and Last Stand.
If that wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to enjoy the persistent universe that the game now offers, new hangers, battle royale, Vanduul Swarm, free flight, racing and hopefully more.
The game is still a long way off, with it recently reaching a new crowd funding record just last week, and showing few signs of actually slowing down. This may still turn out to be the most expensive game ever made, and with a release date that’s likely a few years away, expect more alpha updates and exponentially more features in the not too distant future too.
Please note that the original video has been made private, but this is the internet, and someone reuploaded it, woo-hoo!
