Star Citizen is an enthralling space simulator which looks absolutely breathtaking on a wide range of configurations. Even though the final game hasn’t been released yet, the response so far is promising and it’s something I’ve been intending to try out for some time. Star Citizen’s developer Cloud Imperium Games wanted to give people the opportunity to experience this gorgeous space simulator for a limited time. The Fall 2016 Free Fly campaign is valid until October 30th and simply requires you to create an account. Once complete, enter the promotional code “FALL2016” to download the game.
Anyone who becomes involved in the Free Fly event will receive an F7C-M Super Hornet which is described as, “the closest to the Military load-out as is legally possible for a Civilian model”. If you’ve not tried out Star Citizen before and interested in the game, it’s certainly worth creating an account and downloading. Granted, it’s got some way to go and lots of improvements need to be made, but the foundations are pretty solid. As a fan of space simulators, Star Citizen is shaping up quite nicely and might encourage some players to invest in a flight setup.
