Star Wars Battlefront 2 Alpha Codes Released!

The highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 2 edges ever nearer. After the somewhat tepid feedback from the original, the hype train has not learned its lesson and continues to steam ahead at full speed. Well, good news! Star Wars Battlefront 2 has today started releasing the early access Alpha codes!

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is in Alpha!!!

Yep. So you best check your e-mail… I don’t mind waiting…

Back yet? Good, then congratulations if you received a code and commiserations if you didn’t.

If you were lucky enough to receive a code you will be the envy of many as this is looking to be an excellent Star Wars experience. The announcement via PCGamesN is bound to have many people rather anxiously checking their inbox. I must admit, I had a peak myself, but no such luck.

Does this mean we’ll find out more about Star Wars Battlefront 2?

Probably not. To be part of a closed alpha usually means the signing of a non-disclosure agreement. This basically means ‘don’t say anything or we’ll sue you’.

More and more details have been creeping out, particularly since the official gameplay trailer (the video can be seen below) and I’m sure we’ll hear something about it soon.

It’s a game we’re quite interested in here at eTeknix. We reported only a short time ago details on the release which can be read here.

I didn’t get a code!

No, me neither so I guess we’ll have to carry on. Unfortunately, this was a closed alpha. You had to apply in advance and if you were lucky, you should have your code now. If you didn’t apply by this point, unfortunately, you are too late now. Never mind, we’ll get our hands on it eventually.

Yes, hype alert! Star Wars games are usually either great or terrible and getting over-excited only leads to disappointment. I am, however, quietly optimistic here. I think the force might be strong with this one.
