EA has released another Star Wars: Battlefront 2 trailer, this time showing the single player campaign. While the multiplayer game lets fans experience an expanse of several years covering the entire series, the single player campaign focuses on being an Imperial soldier. In particular, one Imperial Admiral Iden Verso, leader of the Inferno Squad. Gamers playing through the single player campaign will control her footsteps from the moment she joins the Battle of Endor. That battle of course, forever in every Star Wars fan’s memory as part of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Verso witnesses the destruction of the the second Deathstar from the forest moon of Endor. From there she must lead her squad back to safety and exact revenge against the rebel scum. Showing that despite news of the emperor’s death, there is still much to do and more fights to engage in. Much of the trailer shows what every Star Wars fans want to see in a game. Including large battles, gorgeous scenery and familiar characters.
A little bit of background info setting up the story is available at the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 website. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is coming out on November 17, 2017 on the Xbox, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
