Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 17, 2024. EA and Respawn Entertainment aim to bring this popular action-adventure sequel to last-gen consoles, expanding its reach to players who haven’t yet upgraded to newer systems.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows the story of Cal Kestis, a Jedi Knight battling the remnants of the Empire. The game, originally released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2023, picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Players navigate through beautifully rendered environments, using new Force abilities and combat styles to defeat enemies.
The last-gen versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will retail for $49.99 and include optimizations to maximize the hardware capabilities of PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders come with bonus cosmetic items such as the Hermit Cosmetic, Hermit Lightsaber Set, and Combustion Blaster Set.
EA has also promised updates for the PC version of the game, addressing technical performance, controls, and various quality-of-life improvements. This move comes after the PC version faced criticism for its performance issues.
