Bethesda’s highly anticipated Starfield has just gone Gold and is ready to launch for its due date.
Starfield is quite an ambitious game which I’ve personally not been following tremendously closely but developers Bethesda have revealed that the game has gone Gold. Going gold effectively means that the game is ready to be printed and sent to stores and hopefully coincides with a smooth release for its September 6th release date, it would be a nice change compared to other 2023 launches. Additionally, the game is ready to preload digitally on the Xbox store right now with Steam following on August 30th. If you want to play as soon as possible, I’d advise pre-loading it soon as the size of the game is not for the weak-hearted. On the Xbox store page for the game, we can see the size of the game which is 139.84GB, if you’ve got slow internet I’d get that pre-loaded as soon as possible.
I might consider giving Starfield a go next time I grab Game Pass which will likely coincide with the release of Forza Motorsport on the 10th of October.
