The other day we found out that the smooth brain behind the Starfield leaks was arrested for weed possession and a whole lot of theft, today he has been charged for his crimes.
Darin Tyrone Harris To Face Up To a 12-Year Prison Sentence
Darin Tyrone Harris is the culprit behind the recent Starfield leaks but on top of that, he has been charged with Class D Felony Theft. As reported by playerauctions.com, Harris was found with six copies of Starfield alongside three handguns and marijuana, he claimed to the police that he didn’t steal the games but had bought them from another person. Supposedly the police were tipped off by the game footage that was posted on his DHavenShadow YouTube account. Harris was arrested on August 24th and then released on $10,000 bail with his court date set for September 8th.
He is being charged with Class D Felony Theft which the stolen items range from $2,500 to $10,000 and could mean 2 to 12 years in prison. There is no mention of the other games that were seen on his alleged Mercari page which now states “EVERYTHING IS SOLD OUT!!” But judging by the $2,500+ price range of the theft, I imagine they are also taken into account as six copies of Starfield doesn’t quite add up to that amount.
Starfield will be launching very soon and unfortunately for Harris, he won’t be getting another chance to play, though in 12 years he may be out of jail just in time to leak The Elder Scrolls 6.
