Bethesda’s newly released Starfield has been a smash hit with players with only a few issues of people crying about pronouns. After just 2 days of its official launch, the game has hit 6 million players.
Announced on Starfield Twitter, the game has already surpassed 6 million players which has made it Bethesda’s biggest game launch of all time, almost expected considering all of the hype surrounding the game. The general reviews of the game through Steam sit at very positive 81% with the game being claimed as the best parts of Skyrim and Fallout 4 but in space, although some do complain about needing to turn to mods for basic features such as FOV sliders, general optimizations and better visuals with DLSS mods and a better colour filter.
Since the launch of early access, SteamDB has been keeping track of the player count on Steam which peaked on the 6th at 269,177 players, considerably higher than the Early Access launch at 217,273 but only slightly higher than the all-time peak of the early access at 248,632 on the 4th.
