Starfield To Receive DLSS In an Update Next Week

One of the issues people had with Starfield’s launch was the game’s lack of DLSS technology which was primarily blamed on the partnership with AMD, although Bethesda argued that this was not the case. Despite the lack of DLSS, it didn’t take long for modders to introduce DLSS into the game, so quickly in fact that they had done it before the game had even officially launched. Now almost two months since its launch, DLSS will be officially implemented into Starfield.
Starfield Gets DLSS
Today Bethesda confirmed on their Twitter page that a new update will be released into Steam Beta next week. The contents of the update are DLSS support with frame generation alongside display and HDR controls and other improvements. More specifics surrounding the update will be shared once it goes live.
It’s interesting how it has taken Bethesda two months to add DLSS although there’s more to it than just a simple implementation like the modders have done. Either way NVIDIA RTX owners will be happy to see some better frame rates in Starfield and other users will be happy for those Display and HDR controls.
