Steam Officially Launches Their Winter Sale

The Steam Winter Sale

Christmas is only a few days away and hopefully, by this point, you’ve already got the vast majority of your shopping done. Perhaps you are even a little bit more efficient and already have it wrapped up and ensconced under the tree. By this point, you might be experiencing a little bit of Christmas burnout. You have, after all, spent so much on so many others. What about you?

Well, good news! Steam has officially launched their Winter sale. Time to grab some gaming goodies!

What’s On Offer?

As experience PC gamers will know, the Steam Winter Sale, despite its name, actually has very little to do with Winter except for the change of scenery. There are, however, for this particular sale, some pretty big deals to be had across a number of highly-popular franchises. At a glance these include;

  • Assassins Creed
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • The Elder Scrolls
  • Borderlands
  • Spider Elite
  • Devil May Cry
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • And much more!

If you’re more into your specialist or indie games though, fret ye not. With discounts on literally thousands of games, you’re not going to struggle to find something to crowbar open your wallet.

When Is It On?

The Steam Winter Sale is officially live right now! Yep, check your steam account and you should be able to see what’s on offer. The sale itself will run until the 3rd of January so there is no huge rush. With you possibly having a bit of spare time over the next couple of weeks though, it’s a great time to get in some gaming!

What do you think? Which game sale is your pick of the bunch? – Let us know in the comments!
