The Steam Summer sale for 2023 has kicked off and unless you have your wallet locked up, you’re probably going to get mugged by Gaben. So lets have a look at some of the available deals that are going to be rinsing you this year.
Starting off strong we have Valve’s Steam Deck which has several discounts making now a great opportunity to grab yourself one of the top handheld gaming devices on the market. Currently the cheapest 64GB model is available witha 10% discount at £314.10 but with games being so large nowadays, you’ll be more inclided to go for the 256GB model with a 15% discount at $390.15 or the 512GB model at 20% off for £455.20.
Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for just £19.79 and £26.99 for the ultimate editon which includes exclusive online content and story mode content. On a similar note of Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto V: Premium editon with the Criminal Enterprise Starter pack is £14.98 if you haven’t yet got the game.
If you haven’t yet played the Far Cry Games, this bundle is a great option for grabbing you all 9 Far Cry games including the Blood dragon, Primal and New dawn spin-off games as well as the latest Far Cry 6. This bundle is currently at an 80% discount knocking its £235 price tag all the way down to just £50.
If you have been putting off CyberPunk 2077 due to its poor launch, then maybe you’ll reconsider with a more palletable 50% discount bringing the price down to £24.99. Currently the game is in a great state and is an experience that is worth having especially for just £24.99. Additonally the soon to release Phantom Liberty DLC is available in a bundle for £45.98 which knocks £4 of the price of the DLC price alongside the current CyberPunk discount which together would be 49.98.
Civilization VI currently has been given a massive discount down to just £4.99 and is a great time to purchase if you’re a fan of the turn-base strategy experience. Personally i’d reccomend Civilization V but unfortunately it is not currently on discount.
Son’s of The Forest was a bit bare at launch but fun nonetheless. After several updates it has expanded itself into a more fleshed out title which you can grab at a 20% discount for £19.99. Grab a few friends and try to survive on a remote island whilst building yourself a fortress against the strange monsters.
If you loved the Halo Franchise on your old Xbox and want to relive that experience with HD textures then the Master Chief Collection is perfect for you. This bundle includes all Halo Games from Combat Evolved to Halo 4 for just £7.49. With a group of friends Halo is a shooter that puts fun above anything else and comes with several single player campaigns.
The Just Cause series always has brilliant discounts, it almost feels like they’re paying us to play. Just Cause 3 is currently just £1.79 and £3.10 for the XXL edition with all of the DLCs, i’d be surprised if you don’t already own it. The game is great and offers endless fun for such a cheap price, if mindless destruction is your thing then Just Cause is also your thing. Additionally the entire Just Cause franchise is available in a bundle for £32.59 including all DLC and expansions.
House Flipper is a game designed for those with creative mind an enjoy designing the home of their dreams. Currently the game is 70% off at just £6.29 or you can get the Flipper Bundle with all the DLC for £29.26 which is worth it as all the DLC offer exactly what you’d expect for your money, bar the Farm DLC which I haven’t tried.
