Steam Winter Sale Goes Live–Runs Until January 4, 7PM BT

Steam has started their Winter sale this week before the Christmas weekend. Unlike the recent Autumn sale, the Winter sale is generally much larger. Plus, it is not limited in theme like its Autumnal counterpart with Horror titles. In fact, a lot of major recently released titles are on sale. This event will run for two weeks until January 4th. Specifically, the sale ends at 1PM EST or 7PM BT. That should give gamers some time to mull over their purchase decisions. Having the sale before Christmas is also good since it will let people gift other gamers some great games for a lower price. Even just gifting a Steam gift card is great since it will go further, especially now that a virtual Steam gift card is available.
Steam Winter Sale Notables
Award Winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is currently 25% off the retail price. The game itself is already half the price of most other major releases, this just brings it down even further. The Metal Gear franchise is also on sale from 20% off to 80% off. Popular 3D fighting game Tekken 7 is 50% off the retail price, which is the lowest it has been since release. Elite Dangerous is 75% off. This includes the base game plus the various add-on packs which are 50% off. Bethesda’s Fallout 4 is 50% off, plus the older Fallout titles are 75% off. This gives fans a chance to buy the entire series so far for a lot less. The Fallout 4 DLCs are also 40 to 50% off.
There are thousands more on sale. Hurry on over to Steampowered.com or log on to your Steam account before it is too late. You might just find a great game to gift to your favorite Eteknix news writer *cough*
