Every year gamers await the summer sales, from the stores or online sites to the competitions, summer welcomes us and our wallets to an onslaught of issues as we decide which game to add to our collections next. The biggest and most feared of sales is the annual Steam sales, and this year’s summer sales dates have now been leaked.
According to the leak, the summer sales details were leaked by a possible rebel Russian Developer who posted the image on Reddit. The image states that steam sale will run from the 23rd of June at 9:45am until the 4th of July at 10am pacific time (1800 BST).
Due to the months listed in the image, it would appear that the image comes from a Russian developer. You can find the original Reddit thread here. With each yearly sale coming with a mini-game, featuring user voted sales the sale typically filters daily sales and hot sales lasting eight hours all before a final sale day on the 4th July listing every game on sale.
What games do you expect to see on sale this year? Are there any games you’ve been waiting for a sale before getting? All I know is that there will be a game or two I’ll grab for the bargain prices, and my wallet will surely thank me someday.
