SteelSeries Announces the APEX M750 Mechanical Keyboard
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
SteelSeries is introducing a different kind of mechanical gaming keyboard called the APEX M750. The company calls it a “complete package”, and is the result of listening to buyers about what features they want. For starters, the APEX M750 uses QX2 mechanical switches for ultra-fast inputs. QX2 is an exclusive switch from Gateron for faster gaming input in comparison to Cherry MX switches.
It is also fully integrated with the SteelSeries engine, providing significantly more features than any gaming keyboard. This software suite allows the use of Engine Apps that fully mesh well with the APEX M750 keyboard. This includes Discord chat integration, ImageSync for animated GIF to custom lighting effect usage, Audio Visualizer for sound to LED synchronizing and more.
Aside from the SteelSeries Engine software suite, the APEX M750 itself uses high quality materials. It features a durable aerospace aluminum core that can withstand most gamer abuse. This also makes it lightweight enough for transport.
Pricing and Availability
The SteelSeries APEX M750 is available now worldwide. It carries an MSRP of £139.99 GBP, and it is currently available in US English, UK English, French, as well as Nordic layout in the UK. Additionally, gamers who want to extend their comfort can also purchase the optional Apex wrist-rest for £11.99.
