SteelSeries Ikari Laser Mouse Review

This mouse is a vast improvement on any of the standard mice that can be purchased; I feel one of the better gaming mice out there but there a few faults with it and it is not quite the perfect mouse that some reviews have made out.
There are a lot of competing mice which have the same functions (plus a few extra) for a similar price so it is hard to recommend this fully. However, the feel of the mouse is brilliant; it will provide comfort for you in all situations, whether you are using it for Photoshop or to play Call of Duty. The CPI switching is also a very neat feature which can save time and increase your productivity as well as improving your game play but this is readily available on several other gaming mice.
The software that comes supplied with this mouse is a bit limited considering the price range. It only allows you to change three groups of settings but this does still give enough customisation for even a pro gamer. The software pages do not contain the standard minimize, maximise and exit functions in the top right of the window which is rather annoying as the page will remain on top of all other programs until you close it.
In conclusion, I really like this mouse; it has a nice well-built feel and certainly has a few useful features. For any gamer out there it is a really good choice of mouse and will not dent your pocket much at all.
