SteelSeries Launches Bluetooth Version of Arctis 3 Headset

SteelSeries is releasing a new version of their Arctis 3 headset. This time however, it is not a simple color or design change, but adds wireless operation. The SteelSeries Arctis 3 is now available in a Bluetooth version, making the headset even more portable than before. Users can use it both as a wired headset (via detachable cable) or via Bluetooth connection, so it is versatile as well.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth Features

The new Bluetooth version is the same Arctis 3 headset familiar to many. It uses 40mm neodymium drivers operating at 20-22000 Hz with a 98db sensitivity. The bi-directional microphone on the other hand has a frequency response of 100Hz – 10000Hz with a -48 db sensitivity. Included in the package is a 4-pole, 3.5mm; Dual 3.5mm for PC, which can be used for hardware which do not have a Bluetooth connectivity.

The Arctis 3 Bluetooth headset uses BT 4.1 version standards with an operational range of 30ft, 10m from the source. It lasts 28 hours of active listening on a single charge. So it is perfect for those who travel a lot.

Free Headband Promotion

SteelSeries is also currently offering the headset with a custom graphic headband. Users can choose between various colorful options, some of which are created by some recognizable artists such as Lauren Asta.

Pricing and Availability

The new bluetooth headset is now available directly from SteelSeries for £134.99GBP.
