Steelseries Mobile Gaming & Headphone Review

Next up we have the stick and play Free touch-screen Gaming Controls, a very simple yet effective solution to (some) of the issues with touch screen controls on tablet devices.
The controls are simple enough and offer you a way to quickly integrate an analogue stick and three tactile buttons to your tablet by placing them over any virtual on screen buttons provided by your gaming software. I personally found this great for playing the original Sonic The Hedgehog titles.
The controls come in a neat little carry case that means your not going to be fishing around in the bottom of your bag or pockets for the parts when you want to play a game. There also extremely light and compact which means that keeping them in your carry case or back pack won’t offer any inconvenience.
The analogue stick auto center thanks to its spring mount and it provides a good amount of resistance and feedback that you obviously don’t get from the capacitive touch screen its self. The control buttons are a little awkward but are still a big improvement over touch screen as you can feel where the button is without looking.
I’m not going to give these an eTeknix award as they can be a little cumbersome at times, but for only £15.99 from the SteelSeries store, these are a great accessory for those that love to game on their tablet, but don’t want to use traditional controllers or the tactile less touch-screen input. I personally prefer the use of the controller we’ve just taken a look at, but give that costs four times more this is a brilliant and cheaper alternative.
