The latest SteelSeries mouse is shaping up to be another winner for them. The Rival 600 doesn’t pack anything particularly new, but it’s a noticeable improvement of a few concepts. It features their TrueMove 3+ system, which uses dual sensors to prevent cursor jumping should you lift the mouse off of the mat. Of course, this means more accurate tracking for those using a low DPI and lift-off mouse technique.
Of course, they’ve made a few nice ergonomic tweaks too, making it feel more balanced and nimble than ever before. However, part of this comes from the improved weight tuning system. Instead of installing the weights in the base, they’re mounted down the sides of the mouse, allowing it to maintain its balance. Furthermore, this means the mouse doesn’t get back or nose heavy.
Also on display, their next generation of keyboards. They come in two form factors, with a full-size and a TKL design. Both come equipped with Cherry MX switches, and an amazingly lightweight design that should benefit those who travel with their keyboard to gaming events. Of course, they have a few FN shift hotkey functions, as well as LED lighting, ticking all the right boxes for gamers.
They did have some other incredible products we’re eager to show you. However, they’re under NDA, but rest assured, they’re real game changers and we can’t wait to share them with you!
