How Much Does it Cost?

The SteelSeries Sensei Ten Gaming Mouse is available now from most major retailers around the world. We’ve found it on Amazon in the UK for £69.99 and in the US for $69.99. That’s not exactly a bargain, but it’s not exactly overpriced either. I think SteelSeries can command a bit of a premium just on the pedigree of it being a championship-winning product and rightly so, they’ve proven that you get what you pay for. However, many rivals have very good products too, and many of them for about £10 less.

Overview

Few gaming brands have the history and fan base the SteelSeries can command. I can’t remember a time when I saw a SteelSeries product I didn’t love. Going back six, seven, even eight years ago when I started with eTeknix and some of my first reviews were SteelSeries products. Heck, the APEX RAW keyboard from well over six years ago is still on the second PC right next to me and going strong. The Sensei is a long-lasting product, one that has stood the test of time for SteelSeries and may still use it to this day. However, now it’s better than ever, and that’s sure to get some peoples attention.

Making History (again)

The Sensei Ten is going up against some bloody strong competition. Sure, it has the TrueMove Pro sensor as its main selling point. However, Logitech, Razer, Corsair, and a bunch of others are hardly packing their mice with junk these days. For around £60-80 it’s damn hard to find something that isn’t brilliant. OF course, the Sensei Ten is amazing in every respect, and I’m sure it’ll prove a huge hit for gamers. The original is an eSports legend, and the Ten will undoubtedly go on to give SteelSeries another ten years of victory. Plus, if you loved the original, or even still have the original, the new one feels just like the old one, albeit with some kick-ass upgrades that you’re sure to appreciate.

Should I Buy One?

That iconic shape and the fantastic ambidextrous ergonomics are a big hit. It’s a welcome upgrade to the original that SteelSeries fans are going to love. For gamers who’ve never tried the Sensei, the Sensei Ten is as good as they come. Highly recommended! The only question is, do you also pair it with their new Apex Pro keyboard?
