Roccat isn’t the only one rolling out a new keyboard. SteelSeries have unveiled two new keyboards during CES 2013.
Both the keyboards have programmable macro keys along the top and left side of the keyboard for easy and precise macro combinations.
Some of the physical difference between the two are an enlarged space bar, two tactile bumps on the W key for faster WASD FPS action, together with anti-ghosting support of up to 20 keys when simultaneously pressed.
The SteelSeries Apex, which supports up to 16.8 Million backlit colour effects, will cost $99.99 and the Apex [RAW] will cost $69.99 with only white back-lighting and eight levels of light intensity. It’s not clear if these boards will use mechanical switches or standard membrane, but the shipping for both keyboards is to start in early Q2 of 2013.
