A Closer Look
The controller is pretty compact, not longer than your average smart phone, which means it should be easy to store in your backpack or pocket if you really needed to. It features two analogue sticks with rubber tops that should provide good grip, despite their tiny size.
Around the back of the controller you’ll find four pressure sensitive triggers, L1 / R1 at the top and L2 / R2 at the bottom.
A four-way D-pad on the left is recessed into the top of the controller and features a single piece circle disc with a + shape raised section.
The underside features a Bluetooth pairing button, which is complimented by the master power off switch that is located on the right side of the controller.
The controller is quite slim to hold, like that of the original NES controller for those of you old enough to remember it. However, the controller comes with this nifty hard case that can not only be used over the front of the controller to protect it whilst you store it in your backpack, but also clips onto the base to thicken the controller and provide you with a more ergonomic grip.
Here you can see it protects the analogue sticks and face buttons.
Placed on the bottom of the controller, it becomes much easier to grip while gaming. Overall its a simple, but innovative way of making the controller bigger.
