It’s now Mid E3, we’ve seen some amazing releases so far and another one to add to the list of awesomeness is SteelSeries.
They’re releasing a new range of headsets for consoles this July, meaning that console gamers have a lot to look forward to with the X and P-series headsets.
The best ones of the releases are the X900 and P800 wireless headsets. These headsets will feature 7.1 surround sound and rather comfy earmuffs to provide a pro quality experience with minimal audio lag. The transmitter box has a crisp display on it that makes it easy to adjust the eq and more, the headset also has several controls. There is however, no word on battery life for the pair of headsets, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
The PlayStation version will come in at $299 and the Xbox £330 due to requiring an additional adapter to function.
The next versions in the range are X300 and P300, which SteelSeries state that they are the most comfortable headsets in the world, these are based on the Siberia V3 PC headphones – which are really popular within the gaming industry. Powerful speakers, retractable microphone and virtual surround sound comes in at a mediocre $99 for the Playstation and $130 for the X-Box One.
Right at the bottom are the X100 and the P100’s. These headsets come in at $49/$69 but have yet to be tested by anyone.
