SteelSeries has announced that they will present a new “weapon” to their World of Warcraft mice series. Unlike the precedent mouse, which presented a rather medieval soldier look, this new mouse shows off a more thunderous side to it. Set to be selling in late September, this aggressive looking piece of hardware will be called the World of Warcraft Legendary Mouse.
Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO, said in a statement:
We’ve established an incredible partnership with Blizzard Entertainment and the amazing World of Warcraft community. We’ve taken all the excellent suggestions and feedback we’ve received, merged it with the latest gaming technology, and come up with a truly unique lineup of MMO Mice for World of Warcraft players. The new Legendary Edition allows us to meet the needs of gamers looking for a smaller, less complex gaming mouse that delivers the same impressive functionality found in the original and Cataclysm versions.
Presenting a total of 11 programmable buttons, ergonomically positioned for a more enjoyable and comfortable game play, all of these are either programmable with 130 presets, or you can go further and create your own custom macros, what more, you can use the in-game macro scripting language as well.
This mouse has a frame per second of 3,600 and a DPI of 800 to 3,200 with an adjustable polling rate and optical sensor technology. The cable connecting it to your computer is 6.5ft in braided nylon and is Mac a PC compatible.
Nowadays a mouse doesn’t come without style, and so SteelSeries has included an illumination of millions of colors with 4 various levels of pulsation.
This mouse will be available at a price of $79.99/69.99, pricing is not available to UK as of yet.
