Following up the Sensei 310 and Rival 310, SteelSeries is introducing the Rival 110 mouse with a similar true 1to1 tracking feature. That means that it also has zero hardware acceleration. It uses what they are calling “TrueMove1” optical sensor. Most likely, it uses a modified PixArt 3330 sensor and is adjustable from 200 to 7200 CPI and 240 IPS.
The Rival 110 also features a six-button ergonomic design, allowing users of all grip types to use it. The mouse is fairly lightweight at only 87.5 grams. Plus, the mechanical switches inside are rated for up to 30-million clicks so it can withstand hardcore gaming.
It is not an ambidextrous mouse however since the thumb buttons are only on the left side. For extra grip, both sides also have textured rubber coating. Grip matters much less on the underside however, where the entire front has full coverage PTFE skates with two towards the back.
There is on-board memory allowing the user to save settings. This means gamers don’t need to reconfigure their settings for the mouse on different computers. The Rival 310 mouse is also compatible with SteelSeries Engine Apps like Discord, and PrismSync. It is compatible with GameSense lighting as well, providing synchronized lighting effects across SteelSeries devices and display reactive illumination responses to in-game events.
The Rival 110 exclusively featuring SteelSeries TrueMove1 Sensor is available now on SteelSeries website for $39.99 / €39.99.
