SteelSeries WoW: Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse Review

Today we are taking a look at another important aspect of a gamers’ arsenal. The humble mouse, while starting out as a moderately basic input device it has evolved rather significantly over the past few years. It is now the case that they can cram a lot of technology into a very small space, or in this case, a lot of technology into a large mouse.

Steelseries have no delusions about the size of this mouse, it is large, but it does contain 14 buttons. While this may seem a tad excessive, they do have good reason for this. The mouse we are looking at today is the SteelSeries WOW Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse, which as the title suggests has been designed with World of Warcraft in mind. While the audience of such a game may be limited, the original mouse seemed to be very popular so they have as such produced the Cataclysm an updated version and re-design of the standard WOW MMO Gaming Mouse.

Steelseries have a reputation of knowing what the market wants and certainly have eyes and ears over most of the gaming industry. For this reason, they have produced some very successful products that lots of consumers want to get their hands on. Their expertise certainly lies in the Peripheral gaming market.
