Storage Options miScroll Tablet Review

The miScroll measures in at 200mm x 122mm x12mm and is mostly taken up by the 7″ 800×480 16:9 resistive touch screen. Personally from first hand experience, a capacitive screen works better but Storage Options do cater for that with their capacitive version.
Towards the bottom of the tablet are three buttons, one which brings up a dock style menu, a home button and a return key.
Also on the front of the tablet is a built-in 0.3 Megapixel camera, though not the greatest quality, it’s suitable for its price point.
The side of the tablet has 3 buttons, one for powering the device on and off whilst the other two toggle the volume up and down.
The back reminds me somewhat of the original iPhone from Apple with its design and styling. Made from plastic and is also interchangeable with descriptions of the side buttons and bottom connectors including some of the main features of the tablet.
We were also sent two over back covers (red and blue) which is novel but looks a big odd with the rest of the tablet being black.
When removed, it reveals the speaker and 3400mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery which can be removed very easily. The battery gives up to 4 hours use and replacements can be purchased for around £20 for those long trips.
Along the bottom is a panel to protect the connectors from dust and other elements and is fine if you have long nails, but can be quite troublesome to pull out.
Once the panel has been removed, you will find the space for a TF card which for those not in the know, stands for TransFlash, which happens to be the same as MicroSD. There is also a Mini HDMI connector, reset port and USB connection for a flash drive, keyboard or other peripherals.
