Storage Options miScroll Tablet Review

Performance on a product like this is subjective to say the least as it will differ from person to person. Being someone who is used to the latest and fastest technology products on the market, moving over to something that is a bit slower, seems to me as if things grind to a halt.
Sadly the miScroll seems to do exactly that, but please remember the word subjective as you may find it’s ample for yourselves. It’s not just the big tasks like running Angry Birds and other similar games that takes its toll on this device, but is the little things including opening the web browser and even returning to the menu. We’re pretty sure that it’s the memory letting it down and would invite Storage Options to maybe have a rethink about the internal components, even if it costs slightly more than they first anticipated.
Sound quality is good and ample for a device like this, and if wanting to pump it up, the included earphones are perfect for just that without annoying anyone around you. Video is also very good and the fact that it’s able to play full 1080p and many of the top rated formats of this age including H.264, MP4, FLV and MKV makes it a very versatile device overall.
The G-Sensor is slightly disappointing as it seems to lag behind after you’ve physically rotated and generally follows around 2-3 seconds after the initial move.
The web browser is probably one of the most frustrating features of this tablet as it simply gives up after a little while of trying to load a page, and this all comes down to the processor/memory combination that I can only describe as being skimped on.
It’s these little things that add to the performance of a device and in a way, especially in the miScroll’s performance, lets it down in the majority of areas.
