Streacom Introduces BC1 Mini Open Benchtable

Streacom is a familiar name when it comes to HTPC and SFF enclosures. However, they also cater to other parts of the PC DIY market. Their latest product announcement in fact is the BC1 Mini, an open benchtable that is highly portable for mini-ITX boards. The entire unit is toolless and folds onto itself for easy storage. The Streacom BC1 Mini’s release follows one year after the BC1’s debut. The original has been embraced by the enthusiast and overclocking community as it redefines the rules of quality bench tables.
With the BC1 Mini, Streacom applies their know how and focus from years of small form factor design. So it is only natural that the product came to fruition. “We have taken all the great feature of the BC1 and packed them into an ultra-compact form that is perfect for ITX based platforms.” says Shimon Simon, head of Design at Streacom.
Aside from mini-ITX mainboard support, the BC1 Mini supports SFX and SFX-L form factor power supplies. Users can also install graphics cards up to three slots wide in all sizes without interference. It even supports extension brackets for fans and radiators of various sizes.
The BC1 Mini simply folds out ready to use and all attachments use thumbscrews. This so that screwdrivers or other tools are not needed for assembly.

The BC1 is now available in the US directly from OpenBenchtable.com for $164 USD. It will be available three to four weeks after the Community Edition through existing Streacom retailers.
